In cities, as is the case in Mopti, the focus was on income-generating activities. In the scientific and technical fields that offer more opportunities on the labour and more stable income market, girls and women are a very small minority.
In the Mopti region, the illiteracy rate reached 80% of women. The education network has been a priority for our
organization to denounce the limits of IGR (Income Generating Activities) and suggest other development alternatives
that can promote equal opportunities between men and women and to enable women to gain access to functions and more
